The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and technical leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality, developing technical solutions and leading and mentoring a team of engineers in a project.

What You Will Do

• Be responsible for the delivery of our projects:

  • It’s a hands-on role so we expect you to do hands-on coding and do code reviews with your squad members.

  • Work closely with our Product Managers and Engineering Lead to guide our clients in their product development journey and ensure our projects are delivered efficiently following our best practices.

  • Lead the technical architecture and design discussions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of the software.

• Mentor team members:

  • Provide technical guidance to your team, ensuring they follow best practices and adopt the right tools and frameworks

• Participate in our recruitment process:

  • Be part of the technical assessment of candidates.

• Provide insights to and collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering to:

  • Lead technology comparison and engineering process improvements

  • Coordinate activities between all engineering areas.

Requirements

• 7+ years or more of professional web development experience. Experience in Ruby, JavaScript (Node.JS) or Go is preferred.

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead for squads of 5 or more is required.

• At least 1 year of DevOps experience with tools such as: Terraform, Redis, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on software development experience. We are looking for engineering leaders who are still involved in development actively and want to continue doing so.

• Enjoy working on challenging solutions and systems.

• Believe that building great applications is not only about delivering code that “works”, but involves thinking about reusability, maintainability, security, and performance.

• A "Can do attitude" and a product mindset.

• Confidence in communicating in English.
