The Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic and strategic Business Development Executive to acquire new restaurant clients for our Enterprise Restaurant Operations SaaS platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding restaurants to our solution, driving growth through targeted acquisition efforts. As a key player in our founding team, you will shape the trajectory of our customer acquisition strategy, focusing on building relationships, optimizing sales processes, and scaling our reach within the restaurant industry.

What you will do

  • Restaurant Acquisition: Develop and execute innovative strategies for acquiring new Enterprise and Large Mid-Market restaurant customers.

  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with restaurant executives, owners, operators, and decision-makers to drive platform adoption.

  • Sales Strategy: Craft and refine sales pitches and presentations tailored to the needs of restaurants, demonstrating the value of our SaaS platform in enhancing restaurant operations.

  • Partnerships: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with restaurant networks, industry influencers, and other stakeholders to increase visibility and generate leads.

  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking prospects through the sales cycle to ensure consistent growth and high conversion rates.

  • Market Research: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and restaurant needs to stay ahead of the curve and adjust acquisition strategies accordingly.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process and exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years sales or business development, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment, with a focus on restaurant acquisition or the F&B industry.

  • Territory: Experience selling to restaurant chains in Thailand.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth, particularly in acquiring and onboarding new business clients in a fast-paced environment.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the restaurant industry, including pain points, operational challenges, and opportunities for technological transformation.

  • Sales Expertise: Ability to craft compelling sales strategies and close deals, with a strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and CRM tools.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and articulate the value of our SaaS solution effectively.

  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a rapidly evolving start-up environment.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly as we refine our product-market fit.
